What’s Wrong With The Gays?

Every year, gays are holding the picket signs on the streets and demonstrating in order to give pressure on the politicians to have them pass a gay marriage law or yelling out for ‘equal rights’, which make some people feel revolted. The United States of America is a country based on freedom. Have you seen any gay individual kiss on the street or living together in same apartment get arrested or accused of a heinous crime?

Nowadays, US government do nothing to the homosexuals. Why? Because homosexuals are citizens, and above all they are people in the US have freedom to love any person, and love, of course, cannot be punished by law.

Martin Luther King Jr. stood up for the blacks back in the late 1900′s. African Americans couldn’t use the same seats, bathrooms, restaurants, schools, or practically anything else public with whites at that time.

After that time, segregation and unequal laws were practically banished. But what’s up with the gays? Don’t gays get treated fairly by the majority of the people? Is there any gay individual discriminated by a vast majority because they’re simply gay? Most people don’t have problems with lesbians, gays, or bisexuals. But gays keep asking for a gay marriage in almost every state.

In 2009, this beautiful lady (in the video below), Prejean responded to Perez Hilton’s question.

Carrie Prejean: I think it’s great that Americans are able to choose one or the other. We live in a land that you can choose same-sex marriage or opposite marriage and, you know what, in my country and my family I think that I believe that a marriage should be between a man and a woman. No offense to anyone out there but that’s how I was raised and that’s how I think it should be between a man and a woman.

As you see in the video above, audiences were supporting Prejean’s opinion by clapping and she had nothing to say that would really offend any gay. But did you see Hilton’s expression at the end of the video? The video below is the product of Perez Hilton, the judge who asked Prejean the question.

People boo’ed her? Scroll up and look at the first video, nobody boo’ed. Perez asked a question, and Prejean answered to the best of her ability. If Perez wanted to hear the answer he wants to hear every time he asks that question, then maybe he should go ask his fellow homosexuals. Why are gays upset? Is it because the majority disagrees with their sexual orientation? People just have different opinions on being gay or having a legal marriage for gays in their state.

Back in the ’50s, Alan Mathison Turing, the greatest computer scientists accepted treatment with female hormones in chemically castrating homosexuals. Back then, being gay was practically a bit taboo in the UK and in many other parts of the world. Nowadays in the UK, US, and so on, no one really cares what gays do with their partners. But gays keep insisting on ”introducing” other individuals to a ‘window’ of understanding of their sexual preference, political situation, or whatever else which has spawned quite a few people patrolling for “homophobics”.

Which brings me to my next point: The biggest problem with gays is that they and their affiliates accuse people like me of being a fascist, bigot, or a bible-thumping Christian. Why is thinking straight over gay is wrong? Why are gays asking us to change when we already, perfectly understand their situation?

Today, California overturned the notorious gay marriage ban, a move that has already become controversial between the sides of anti-gay marriage and same-sex marriage. Gay marriage, in my opinion, is simply wrong. Tied in with child adoption, it’s even more troubling for people who feel “shy” around gay individuals. My side believes that children who are adopted by gays may get confused at a young age, at this point some research shows that a household with a mother and a father is very beneficial for the children.

Some proponents of gay marriage say other individuals like criminals are allowed to marry and in many cases, abuse their children but that’s what the multiple government agencies are there for: to stop the abuse and land the criminals behind bars. And what’s to say gay parents won’t be abusive? If gay marriage is to protect gay rights, then what about the children’s rights?

I would like to thank the editor for posting this article. It has been some time since I have seen real writing. "Nowadays", online, with computers and computer newspapers – everything is edited down and it takes the soul – the inner voice out of the article.

It is refreshing to see an honest opinion. It is a bonus to see the writers education level, temperament, and misguided enthusiasm for his own bigotry. Such honesty allows for a higher level of communication that does not talk down to others but simply explains the difference between right and wrong and why some people care about things like that.

On that note, Mr. Davis, you see, being able to kiss on the streets is a new phenomenon that should not be confused with equality, just as "Perez Hilton" for not be confused with the voice of gay rights.

Bayard Rustin, who is know more for being gay than the primary architect of the non-violent movement of the civil rights era, once said that the next test for democracy would be equality, not just for African Americans, for for Gay Americans. It should be no surprise that the prominent Christian based forces of the civil rights movement pushed Rustin out when things were going good, until the movement was in a bind and he was called on to serve humanity again.

In the same way America should test the degree of our own humanity by surveying our willingness to be rational about individuality, be that biological or any other way. It is not just a matter of preference to be filled with hate – it lets the rest of us know things are not safe yet, and to lay low, play dumb, and be careful.

Our country will always test freedom, the next test will concern mental illness but that is a topic beyond the scope of your article.

I hope one day you will find a little humility in the fact that your name is associated with such poor writing skills. I only came across this article because of an RSS feed. At first I thought it must be a school project (grade school) which would excuse the poor sentence structure and the logic behind using a television show to demonstrate morality.

Robert, in this country we don't legislate rights based on opinions. We legislate based on equality. And whether you like it or not, marriage is a substantial bundle of rights which the government bestows upon one group (heterosexuals) to the exclusion, and therefore detriment, of another group (homosexuals).

Your profile indicates you are in Kansas. Let's just assume for the sake of discussion you were born in Kansas. Let's also assume there is a Federal law which grants a certain tax advantage to citizens born in any U.S. state and territory EXCEPT Kansas. Because you happened to be born in Kansas, therefore, you would not be able to enjoy this advantage. Wouldn't you agree that this would fly in the face of equal rights?

I hope you're able to see the parallel here, but I'm not going to hold my breath.
Confused

The church and the gay community will always be divided on this issue. I'm not sure why those in the gay community care what the church thinks, nor am I sure why the church wants to legislate morality, given its failure to live according to what it believes. The Bible is clear that we are to remove the log from our (own) eye, before we remove a twig from someone else's.

Although the bible speaks against homosexual acts, it also speaks against pre-marital sex, adultery, placing anything in our lives above God, divorce, and lying (just to name a few), and places no sin above the other. The bible calls Christians to live according to the spirit, sacrificing the desires of the flesh, so that we may glorify God. If Christians walked the walk, it would be much easier for the world to respect our beliefs, even if they chose not to accept them as truth.

That said, the fact that I advocate a just society that includes CIVIL AND RELIGIOUS rights for all of its citizens, inclusive of respecting one’s right to live as one chooses, is now crushed beneath the weight of a community whose politics are shaped by the right to include a sexual agenda into every facet of life.

As a one time member of civic organizations like the gay and lesbian chamber of commerce, I wanted to support a community I loved-and still do. But there were (and are) times when attending a chamber meeting was difficult because the meetings social agenda included sensual or quasi-sexual performances that would have been considered sexual harassment within the confines of any other professional organizations. Is that "equal?" One cannot go to a gay sponsored event without being innundated by sexual innuendo. Even those within the gay community speak out against explicit sexual behaviors that result at gay pride parades, and or gay sponsored events.

Is it equality you seek? Does this mean that all business meetings or equivalent community events will be inclusive of sex toys, advertisements for adult book stores, leather, and drag queens? Does equality mean that sexual innuendos will be reintroduced to work place, erradicating the work done on behalf of women during the last 20 years? It seems to me, aside from any religious perspective one may have, that there is much the gay community would have to give up to be "equal". Compromise is required by both sides to ensure that values of each are respected. At the end of the day, that's what it's all about. R-E-S-P-E-C-T!

As complicated as the marriage issue could be for society-the solution is simple. Civil Marriage and Religious Marriage-both recognized by the state, but free of the interpretations of the other. Both separate; both equal.
