Otaku at Tianjin Goes On Shooting Spree

A man named Zhang at Tianjin who who has dreamt of fantasies about being a chivalric knight since childhood armed himself with weapons and wounded innocent people. Zhang was from the region of Sichuan and is now a student in one of the top universities in China who recently got addicted to online gaming.


To differentiate himself from other otakus in the world, he actually purchased a real firearm to "eliminate evil".

After he illegally purchased the gun, he stepped into the office of a job recruiting company and told people there that he wanted to apply for a job. A woman named Lee who was the head of the office asked him to pay 300 yuan after filling out an application form.

Zhang then asked, "Are you the boss of this company?" After Lee said yes, Zhang abruptly brought out his gun and started shooting others in the office starting with Ms. Lee.

Zhang was subdued and immediately arrested by the police. According to the police, Zhang was planning to buy an online gaming weapon and a wig after his shooting spree.
