So Operation Blackout and the very high-profile moves taken by giants such as Wikipedia & Reddit in protesting the shameful, anti-Internet & anti-human rights Stop Online Piracy Act introduced by the U.S. Congress, ironically the one thing most of them agreed on for once, worked. But of course, a bill has been introduced in the House of Representatives called the Cyber Intelligence Sharing and Protection Act (H.R. 3523) or “CISPA”, which, you guessed it, is as bad as SOPA.
It’s been introduced as a “protector” of one’s rights on the Internet and elsewhere. Something about Osama bin Laden switching from Windows Vista to Linux.
Of course, cyber security is a big issue and cyber threats are very real, but legislators should at least TRY to read every damn bill, because they tend to sneak some stuff in there like very vague terms (“belligerent acts”, really?) that can screw over millions of average people.
So whose fault is it that, yet again, the rights of honest organizations and people are threatened? Well you could blame yourselves for electing these fools into office or you could blame the entire system that happens to not give a shit about you or your “rights”.
Well, let’s start somewhere shall we? How about we start with Representative Michael Rogers for introducing CISPA?

We kept SOPA and a few others at bay, we can do it again! However many times necessary.
We thank the United States government for giving us the ammunition, the fire & the cause for the We the People to unite and force us to learn and pay more attention to its doings.
