Citizens of Greece,
We are Anonymous.
We watch every day as your government abolishes the constitution and institutions of the country. We see it leading you closer and closer to poverty. We see it pass laws that deprive you of any right to dignity. We see it deliver the country to the IMF and the bankers.
We know about the soup kitchens in schools, the armies of the homeless, the people looking in the garbage for food, the people who are left jobless and now wait in queues for a plate of food.
We know that your country voted for the ACTA in an effort to silence Greeks. We know everything…
The Republic in Greece has died. It was murdered once a government, not elected by the people, came into power.
And for this reason, the time for discussion came and went.
To the Greek government: You can hunt as much as you like. You can even capture some of us in our attempt to muzzle you, but for every one that will be put into prison, 3 others will spring up. There were 5, 10 and 100. Now all of the Greeks are Anonymous.
We are millions against you and the 300 in this war. Tear gas will not help you.
Soon, the government will vote for a bill that will hammer the last nail into the coffin of the once proud, birthplace of democracy. A bill that will return the country to totalitarian rule. A bill that will bring the country and its people to absolute poverty.
We will NOT allow more miseries to occur for the Greek people.
We demand the immediate resignation of all the heinous officials and the return of elections. We demand that you pay not a single cent to “money lender friends”. We demand the IMMEDIATE withdrawal of the IMF from Greece.
The Justice Department was only a small glimpse into our abilities. You have not yet seen the full wrath of Anonymous.
For each article of a bill that would shame the Vote, we will shut down the system and delete all Inland Revenue debts of Greek citizens. Debts which require them to make tribute to fascists.
The government may have an edge with its use of brutal violence against protesters at the dozens of demonstrations on the streets of Greece, but for us, the Internet is our playing field. We will enjoy wreaking havoc on the government.
